"We know TB is one of the infectious diseases and stroke is a non-communicable disease, but this is our challenge in Jakarta, coupled with new diseases such as Covid-19. So, all parties must pay attention to the service," he said.
According to him, it could spur other hospitals in Jakarta to have superior health services.
Tarakan RSUD Director, Dian Ekowati said, it is a breakthrough in the context of providing health services for people who have TB and stroke. There were six health workers provided at Tarakan Hospital for TB RO services and six people for Integrated Stroke.
"For our integrated stroke service, we only provide five bed units, with the addition of human resources, we will add this service later. Currently, TB RO is still serving outpatient services. Hopefully, these two integrated services can meet Jakartans' need, such as the high rate of stroke," he stated.
